Possibly the largest and most influential brand in luxury today, Louis Vuitton continues to expand on its watchmaking know-how. This year, the brand debuts the Tambour Orientation, a 44mm stainless steel watch that keeps you on time as well as steering you in the direction.

As a brand that has strong roots in travel, it is only logical that their horology focus would also include a useful mechanism for travelers.

Through the exclusive caliber LV 122, the watch is able to act as a compass of sorts, always indicating North when called upon. The watch is able to do this whatever hemisphere the traveler finds himself or herself via an alignment of the yellow markers on the subdials at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock with the position of the sun. The watch also indicates solar time and is water resistant to 100 meters
