French football legend Zinedine Zidane is IWC’s new ambassador. The Schaffhausen-based Swiss luxury watch brand IWC unveiled its new Ingenieur Automatic Edition Zinedine Zidane in Paris recently.

Produced in a limited edition of 1,000, the watch was seen on the wrist of Zidane himself at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. Styling-wise, the watch is decked out in the colors of the French flag and sports the number ‘10’ prominently, as you can see.

This was Zidane’s number in the French national side. Gathered to celebrate the event were Zidane’s teammates from the all-conquering 1998 French national team, including Laurent Blanc, Marcel Desailly and Bixente Lizarazu. Also present were Eva Longoria and basketball star Tony Parker, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and actor Christophe Lambert.
