Haute horlogerie manufacture A. Lange & Söhne has opened its first
stand-alone store in Tokyo, located in Ginza 6-chrome, Namiki Street. This is
the brand’s third stand-alone store, after Dresden and Shanghai.
With its
peerless reputation – one of the brand’s most famous fans is none other than
watchmaking legend Philippe Dufour – and extremely limited production, A. Lange
& Söhne watches are amongst the most sought-after in the world.
In the
Tokyo store, visitors will be able to not only buy watches but also to get a
glimpse of life at the manufacture in Glashütte, Germany. In partnership with
regional retailers The Hour Glass, the Tokyo store follows the
“state-of-the-art tradition” ethos of A. Lange & Söhne, right down to a
replica of Dresden’s Semper Opera’s five-minute clock.
